Since I was a child, my happy place has always been in the kitchen. I grew up visiting my families bakery and always treasured the smells that escaped from the oven. I remember waking up in the morning to go make breakfast for my whole family. Breakfast has always been my favorite meal, with my number one favorite being (you guessed it) cinnamon rolls! There is just nothing better than a homemade cinna bun... the way the middle just melts in your mouth, there is nothing better!
Okay enough about cinnamon rolls....10 or so years later, a different passion of mine took me through nursing school where I graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2018. After graduating school, the man of my dreams proposed and we married in September of 2019. While my focus was on nursing school, a girls gotta eat right? From meal prepping to delicious snacks to get you through a three hour lecture, nursing school showed me the importance good nutrition is to a happy and healthy lifestyle.
Currently, I live in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA with my amazing Husband. I work at an outpatient surgical center and live a fairly busy lifestyle. My hope for these recipes is that you can always turn to them even when life gets busy and things seem out of control. There is nothing that a middle of a bun can't fix...
